Ramadan is a month-long fast observed by Muslims all over the world. With Ramadan ending this weekend, we thought it would be a good topic to share and educate everyone about.
During Ramadan from sun up to sundown Muslims, twelve years and older fast all day, that means no food or water. Not only do they fast but they also abstain from gossiping or saying anything negative about other people. Muslims fast during this time to remind them of the less fortunate. By remembering those who are less fortunate, Muslims can reflect on how they can help.
At the end of Ramadan, there is a big celebration. For three days family and friends gather for big meals and exchange gifts. Click here to learn more about Ramadan!
